Mark Howard's TOOM Engineer Notebook

After our conversation Engineer Mark Howard generously shared a few photos of pages from the notebook he used while working on recording Time Out Of Mind.

As he explained, he used the book to keep track of the recording process - what was on which tape. In part this enabled him to quickly find specific tape segments for playback or editing. They also reveal a bit about what was recorded, by whom, during these sessions.

The book itself shows how much work was put in during these sessions, with tabs mark created for each song the worked on. 'Fanatic' members can hear the interview in the event replay.
