The Most Import News
for Dylan Fans

Bob Dylan is supporting the a charity for Crohn’s and Colitis, a disease that affects his grandson - interestingly he’s *actually* signed a copy of The Philosophy of Modern Song which is being auctioned. Jacob Dylan is playing live at the benefit event.

The world was still digesting the Dylan Autopen Controversy this week, with many news outlets and pundits weighing in - nobody said anything particularly interesting. The spillover to Dylan’s paintings is significant, with an announcement of refunds on some very expensive prints from the last two years.

Back on the topic of books, some did go overboard:

"But now he’s gone and spoiled it all by writing a misogynistic survey of popular music, portentously titled The Philosophy of Modern Song, in which he stands accused of “mixing metaphors and spouting nonsense like an elderly uncle who bulk-emails links to Fox News segments”. Worse, the decision to offer a special edition at $599 has landed him in very serious trouble." - Liz Thompson
